TTC Tint & Tone Craft
Window tinting
Window tinting. Greater Victoria area.
Window tinting involves applying a thin film to the interior of windows, typically made of polyester, to reduce the amount of visible light, infrared, and ultraviolet radiation entering through the glass.
Dyed Window Film: This type uses a layer of dye to absorb solar heat. It is generally less expensive but may fade over time.
Metalized Film: Contains metallic particles that reflect heat and UV rays. It is durable and effective but can interfere with electronic signals.
Carbon Film: Offers good heat and UV protection without interfering with electronic devices. It has a matte finish.
Ceramic Film: Uses ceramic particles to provide superior heat and UV protection. It is the most advanced and usually the most expensive option.
Hybrid Film: Combines dyed and metalized layers to offer both heat rejection and reduced fading without signal interference.
